HELLO THERE!

My name is Paula Bellón, I’m a Speech and Language Therapist and Doctor in Psychology specialized in working with multilingual families.

Get to know me

I was born in Galicia, Spain, so I was raised in a multilingual setting. Beyond Galician and Spanish, I’ve been soaking up other languages since childhood.

My curiosity has driven me to play with the linguistic possibilities of each one, resulting in a versatile range of language skills that allow me to navigate different environments with ease.

I’m passionate about language diversity and the stories that can be told through each language and culture

I have centered my professional and research career around supporting multilingual and multicultural families, guiding them in the process of choosing and managing their languages at home throughout the different stages of their lives.

Did any of this catch your eye?

My approach

This site advocates for the right of every individual to express themselves in the language of their choice and promotes respect for their cultural identities.

In every person's life, there are multiple internal and external dimensions that shape their ideas, decisions, and actions. It is difficult to define someone based on a single trait without considering their full context. The same is true for languages and cultural identities.

— Our philosophy

At LogoPaula, you will find a range of online and in-person services tailored for families and professionals working with multilingual individuals, or for anyone simply interested in the field.

I advocate for practice rooted in clinical and scientific evidence. Therefore, I also share updates on multilingualism research, including my own publications, projects, and presentations.
